This is a kind of sunday that when you woke up
sleepy but when you decide to push yourself to
get out early from your house and you were
so glad you did that. Yes, it was that kind of Sunday.
Making art with the girls after a quick trip to that
one particular big second hand market.
I hope your Sunday was as rad as mine, peeps!:)

me and collages : Headless Songstress CD

One of the most amazingly talented best friend of mine, Tika, just launched her second album after five years. This long
awaited album means so much to me in so many ways.
Not only I wrote one song in it but also my collages are in the
CD covers and sleeves!
But the best part of this CD is how beautifully packaged it is!
It's in a form of a note book inside a floral fabric pouch.
Way pretty. I'm so so happy to be involve on this gorgeous
piece of art. Congratulations, Tika! Thank you so much!
More of her music at www.suaratika.com and
you could see some of my collages in it too:)

me and collection : vintage envelopes
I have never thought of old envelopes before until I joined etsyand then found some beautiful ones at my favorite post office.
This one is sold for its stamp actually but I fall in love with the
whole envelope design. Inside of this there is a certificate of
authenticity of the stamp that especially made for Welfare Day
Celebration on February 10, 1966.

me and collection: old postcards
at an annual craft festival in Jakarta. I wish they are bigger.
Because I couldn't find any frame to put them until now.
And making a small frame is definitely much more difficult
than making a big one, although it may be cost less.

So the idea is a series of ACEO with this boy as the main
character. One series consist of 3 ACEO. YOU pick the word
on each ACEO that consist of three letters only. The font is
exactly like this one. Actually, I'm thinking of Valentine's
when I made this. Interesting, right?
So go to http://www.vantiani.etsy.com/ to order yours today:)

Me and collages: A new series for kids!

It's interesting to realize that when I made this series
I keep having kids in my mind. Kids room, kids party,
and other kids related activities. I am so glad to always
have a pile origami papers around my chaotic studio
because I find out that each origami papers set that
they sell here has totally different set of colors!
Some of these will be available at my etsy and
some others will be made into postcards! Yay!
And actually there are other new series that I made
during last long holiday. I will share them with you
later this week since I have another interesting
collage project on my blog this year starting this month.
Wait and see dearie!:)

me and that punk boy : things we love today

Our house. That old dusty and messy palace of ours.
Where you can see origami papers scattered around
and vintage pillow cushions in our poor lighting bed
because of this rainy season. Oh how wonderful!
So,what do you love most about your palace?

I keep making these lately..

First it supposed to be the tool for me to make a
round shape on the fabric before I cut them to
make yoyos. But then I start to realize how cool
they are! Cardboard is awesome.
And last week I found an idea what I am going to
do with these. I will show you later on, meanwhile
I am in search of colourful used cardboard with
interesting fonts today.
Have a good week everybody!
