me and ubud : their handmade plushies
These are just some fabric plushies made of scraps
that I often see at my regular seamstress or at the
market. There is one more creature that I forgot
to take picture of it but these four I hope it's pretty
clear to show creative and fun those local Ubud
crafters are:)
Oh the third picture is actually a sling bag too!
And my favorite is the second picture while I
bought one of those clowns a long time ago
and just loving it!

me and ubud: my sister's little forest
I will leave Ubud on Wednesday, back to Jakarta.
I've been having such a tremendous wonderful time
thanks to my succulent sister, her friends and of course
her shiny little forest that I walk by every morning
before having a breakfast with her.
Oh, do you notice how often I post nature's pictures
on this space since I'm in Ubud? And for all these,
I should be back soon;)

me and craft: pom pom flowers!
http://www.domestifluff.com/2008/10/how-to-make-pom-pom-flowers/
That's the gorgeous tutorial that I learned in making them.
Apart from having an order from another etsian for a bouquet
for her room, I was so so happy with the way turned out!
So yesterday, in a rainy afternoon I just finished a bouquet of
ten of them when suddenly a friend text me and asked me out.
But when we met I brought along the bouquet because I need
to buy a vase for them...what happened then, she bought them!
Yay! And today I will definitely make more!

(Not A) Sunny Sunday
The sky is really friendly today. I think it knows that I am
in my third day of detox and not supposed to be under the
sun for long. So I packed my collages and a bit of my pom
pom materials and go straight to find some frame shops.
Afterwards I went for a small bite and making pom poms
while drinking a cup of hot peppermint tea at this cafe near
a big football field. Oh, I visited this public library and score
these two books! Aren't they just so pretty and kitschy?
What a good Sunday, right?
May yours is also a good one.

me and ubud : this morning before the sky turned grey
I have been really annoyed with Ubud's sky for
it's sudden change from really bright then quickly
change into dark grey then slowly back into bright
then will stay darker and darker. I mean, how on
earth am I supposed to take pictures that I must
submit to the newspapers today?
Oh did I say newspapers interviews? Yes, dear!
I will be on two different newspapers for this
Friday and Saturday! Woot! Will share you more
on that later;)

me and ubud : a quiet botanic garden
I went to Ubud's botanic garden only for a short
time because I had to run back for lunch with my
sister. But from what I've seen, they could be much
much better.

me and ubud : a street gallery under a big tree
I passed them by every time I went out of Ubud.
They placed those paintings around under this one
old tree that grow in front of a temple. Such a cool
exhibition idea I will say. Oh and that cat painting is
my favorite! Isn't he just adorable?

Sunny Sunday
I think this is hottest Sunday I have ever had
in Ubud so far. It's good that we stay at home.
Cooking, reading and singing along and had a
yummy Japanese dinner later on. Oh how's
your Sunday, dear?
