me and fabric shop

This is inside one of the oldest and awesome fabric shop
in this big market in my area that I love to visit at least
once a month. I always, always leaving with something
in my tote from here. From nesting doll, retro kitchen
utensils, oil cloth and of course fabrics or sewing stuff.
I haven't found any other fabric shop that could beat
this one. Thanks to Miss T that introduces me with this
one shop called Esamokan.

me and that punk boy

My lover made all these in less than a week out
of boredom and garbage in our house.
He always been very crafty but at the
same time after making some stuff then he stops
and never made them again. So I guessed this bunch
will stay this small until he gets inspired again.

I will show you a pair of socks dolls that he made
on us sometime soon. Very quirky!

me and pom poms

These tote bags were made from vintage dresses with a row of
pom poms for the lining. Some of them are still available to be
purchase if you are interested.

In search of a good spot and background

This is a wall on my front yard. My late cousin painted
them with his artwork as if it's something pretty to
remember him by. I tried to take pictures of several
totes I made in it. What do you think?

Oh that oil cloth tote in the second picture
is my favorite this week. I am really, really
happy with the result and I will definitely
make more of them for my craft shop.
The first one I made from a vintage dress
where I put some green and white pom poms
to accessorize it. I really, really love the roses
motifs in it. While the third one is my zine distro
tote. A good friend draw the artwork for my
birthday present. I love tote bags!

Sunny Sunday

This is the last day I spend at my parents house after almost
a week for Hari Raya. I start to miss it somehow. I love the
quietness and greenery of this house. I love hanging out and
watching TV all day with my awesome youngest sister.

I woke up early and going to the biggest traditional market
around to check out some cutting boards and oil cloths. Oh
such a lovely trip! I found this big secondhand book and
stationary shop, having a big glass of iced cappucino plus
starting my first fabric collage on a cutting board.
How about your Sunday?
