me and collection: vintage music books

I found them and other vintage books on films when
I was spending my Sunday with Frnss two weeks ago.
So far I have like five Acme books, so I was stoked
that I found more of them and other awesome music
books like that Ricky Nelson one!

Saya menemukan buku buku ini waktu saya menghabiskan
hari Minggu saya bersama Frnss dua minggu yang lalu.
Sampai hari ini saya sudah punya lima buah buku musik
seri Acme, karenanya saya senang sekali waktu menemukan
buku ini dan buku-buku musik lainnya. Lihatlah yang Ricky
Nelson! Keren sekali kan?

Sunny Sunday

These pictures were taken from my Sunday two weeks ago.
I was wake up all restless and sore because of my exhaustion
the week before and after I had a big glass of iced cappucinno
and a couple of donuts, I decide to visit my parents. So these
are pictures taken at their home together with my youngest sister.
So grateful for my family that could turned my Sunday into
something sweet and awesome.

Hari minggu dua lalu saya terbangun kelelahan setelah sepanjang

me and craft : recycle totes

I found these pictures this morning inside my
fabric folder and I suddenly missed them.
Those who knows me can tell how crazy
about tote bags I am.So, a couple of years
ago I start to design them also.

All of them are sold already and I used to
embelish them with pom poms, laces
and other embellishments. It's time to make
more I guessed, one should never have enough
totes, right?

me and you: a give away time!

This is my Paperie Pose series. It's a small series of three pieces.
Therefore I will need THREE WINNERS for each of them.
Each winner will get an A4 size art print PLUS a blank card with the
same piece on the print. Awesomeness!

Just leave a message and tell me what do you like most about
a dress compares to a pant. Because as a mostly-wear-dresses-
person, this question has been thrown at me so many times:)

me and work: wonderful outdoor shoot

honestly, i rarely enjoy any of my commercial shoot.
except for this one. we were shooting for three days.
two days at this gorgeous chinese temple and one day
at this soccer field and an old navy house complex.
this is the greenery around that house.

do you realize how rare you see nature in my blog?
i admit that that i love leafs, lots of them. but not
flowers, baby. i just don't like them as my objects.
but i love flower markets though. i know, i'm weird.

me and flowers: red roses

Being a sucker for flower
patterns, motifs, pictures
but not the real flowers itself.
These are my tiny collection
of old postcards with red roses
in it. How about you?
What kind of flowers that you
like only in pictures?

What a Saturday!

Why it was a superb saturday?

1. I don't have to go to the office like I used to lately.
2. It's not raining until we finished our shopping trip.
3. Ate a homemade ice cream on this old and pretty
ice cream restaurant.
4. Finding some gorgeous fabrics includes an African batik
table cloth, other table cloth with gorgeous plants
illustrations and other little pretty finger power pieces.
5. Take Miss Raw to this amazing old post office building
with some interesting sellers of old ads, photographs
and other paperie.
6. Ate a mango sticky rice at the first day of my period.
7. Checking out one of our inspiring furniture shop.
8. Having to walk for several hours in several floors at
the same time with bundles of stuff in our hands.
9.Spending less than we planned it should be.
10. End the day with playing scrabble for hours with my
punk boy and meet some new punk friends from
Germany.

me and flower patterns

this is my dress this monday morning.
very messy yet very pretty.
i think this dress represents my life lately perfectly.
i admit that i have to juggle really, really hard
for so many things in my life now
that i often find myself lost among its beauty.
yes, i guessed having way too many good things
in life does not necessarily makes you
feel content in walking towards it day by day.
at least, not in my case its not.
therefore today, i try once again to make myself have
enough determination to decides which direction
i want to take now.
wish me luck and have a superb week everyone!

me and fabric shop

This is inside one of the oldest and awesome fabric shop
in this big market in my area that I love to visit at least
once a month. I always, always leaving with something
in my tote from here. From nesting doll, retro kitchen
utensils, oil cloth and of course fabrics or sewing stuff.
I haven't found any other fabric shop that could beat
this one. Thanks to Miss T that introduces me with this
one shop called Esamokan.

me and pom poms

These tote bags were made from vintage dresses with a row of
pom poms for the lining. Some of them are still available to be
purchase if you are interested.

In search of a good spot and background

This is a wall on my front yard. My late cousin painted
them with his artwork as if it's something pretty to
remember him by. I tried to take pictures of several
totes I made in it. What do you think?

Oh that oil cloth tote in the second picture
is my favorite this week. I am really, really
happy with the result and I will definitely
make more of them for my craft shop.
The first one I made from a vintage dress
where I put some green and white pom poms
to accessorize it. I really, really love the roses
motifs in it. While the third one is my zine distro
tote. A good friend draw the artwork for my
birthday present. I love tote bags!
