Sunny Sunday

These pictures were taken from one of my inspiring friend, Alexandra.
She lives with her two sons and her husband at this small and creative
house where she always prefer to recycle stuff and redecorate once in
a while. She has some of my originals at her house that I have been
feature here before too. Thanks much, Alex! So glad we're friends!

Alexandra,
senang sekali kita berteman baik!

Sunny Sunday

Dear Frnss,
I would like to let you know how awesome it turned out
our spending Sunday together. Not only I got the chance
to show you some of my fave second hand books and
flea markets; but I was so happy that you found all these!
Thank you for the chat, iced coffee, walk in the park and
the following after friendship and of course the secret
projects that we will and have made so far. You are one
hell of a young man and I am so proud that you are my
friend.

Sincerely,

Vantiani.

me and mecca : their fancy camels

These camels are mostly hang around at the mountain
areas where mostly visited by people about to pay
respect to a cave, cemetery or statue around it.
I feel sad actually seeing how heavy these camels
being accessorized(?) by their owners just to look
fun and pretty to attract those people to ride them.

I mean look at all those carpets and other dangling
things they put on them! Imagined walking up and
down the mountain with those things PLUS someone
riding on your back? There.

me and ubud: a bazaar style shop!

it's a small shop on the corner not so far from antonio blanco's
museum. it called moga moga or hopefully in english. it has
abundance of gorgeous enamel wares, kitschy recycled stuff,
fabrics and clothes.

when i talked to the shopkeeper, apparently the owner is a
japanese woman that marry a javanese man. she's also
making jewellery from mosaics, silver and gold in a very
festive and vintage kind of style. just gorgeous!

i love to buy so many things at this shop but i could
refrain myself with three small recycled tin stuff. ffuih!
i know i should take more pictures, but i am way too
busy checking out stuff there. my bad:)

me and mecca : ice cream cars!

I was so happy when I see them parked around
a hill that we visit when we were in mecca.
Apart from ice cream, they also sell coffee and
tea with milk, water and of course ice cream
cones in vanilla and chocolate flavours!

Aren't they just rad?

me and books : cool coloring books

I have this one old book shop that always makes me
excitedly happy everytime I pay a visit. It has all
kinds of kitschy stationary and school books that
makes me feeling nostalgic. You know that kind of
feeling, right?

Now, these are some coloring books for children
that I found there last Sunday. Look at those
illustrations! Lovely! There are vegetables, flowers,
and birds series.
