me and ubud : their handmade plushies
These are just some fabric plushies made of scraps
that I often see at my regular seamstress or at the
market. There is one more creature that I forgot
to take picture of it but these four I hope it's pretty
clear to show creative and fun those local Ubud
crafters are:)
Oh the third picture is actually a sling bag too!
And my favorite is the second picture while I
bought one of those clowns a long time ago
and just loving it!

me and sellers: plastic plushies

In Jakarta, I love that I still seeing a street toy vendor
like this one walking around my house area. It's usually
a man who builds a display made of wood and some rattan
sticks to put all those balloons plushies, paper toys and other
toy goodies that either they make it themselves or bought
from someone else in a few amount.
I certainly hope this kind of toy sellers still be around for
sometime because I just love their paper crafts and those
small balls in bold colors. They always reminds me of my
childhood years.

What a Sunny Sunday!

A hot bowl of egg and noodle. Yum. We quickly take a bath
and went straight to the market. We thought of looking some
second hand stuff but instead we went from one big toys shop
to another. It's interesting how toys seemed like a big business
on this small city. Oh the city called Kuningan
(it means Yellowish, in English. No kidding.) in West Java,
(it means Yellowish, in English. No kidding.) in West Java,
close to the Ciremai mountain.
Next, we went to this place where there are some relics from
2500 AD being found here in 1972 and then we went back to
the city for another stroll on the market looking for lunch
before going back to the hotel and start our journey back
to Jakarta. It's six hours bus ride but it's worth every single
minute of it. Thanks bunches to my love for such an interesting
trip for my birthday this year. Yay!

me and that punk boy
of boredom and garbage in our house.
He always been very crafty but at the
same time after making some stuff then he stops
and never made them again. So I guessed this bunch
will stay this small until he gets inspired again.
I will show you a pair of socks dolls that he made
on us sometime soon. Very quirky!
