me and old building: a pretty batik shop

I accidentally saw this pretty building one morning after 

accompanying a good friend picked up some books at this

huge second hand book market in the South of Jakarta. 

As I came closer to take this pictures I found out that it's

an old batik shop owned by this old chinese man.I really

really love those two big displays and the second floor!

Ceritanya waktu itu menemani teman mengambil

pesanan bukunya di Blok M Square, jadi bayangkan

senangnya saya waktu mendekat dan menemukan

betapa diantara himpitan ruko-ruko baru masih ada

tersempil sebuah bangunan secantik ini. Yay!

me and old cars : accidental beauties

I don't see myself as a car person. Apart from I don't drive at all,
and feels good about it (especially since I live in one of the worst
traffic city in the world). But I know that I always have certain
fling on certain type of cars and Volkswagen is one of them.
So imagined my surprise one morning when I arrived at my office
and find this beauty parked not so far from it!

With full of excitements I took these pictures rather quickly
because I have to go back to the office afterwards. But an hour
after it, as I get out of my office I am so surprised to find out that
this green beauty is not there anymore and instead I found this!

And when I got back another one hour afterwards to see if
this beauty still parked there, it's gone! Oh wow!

I found them at my fave post office last Tuesday.

Most of them are from 1960's and that red flower

one is from 1983. You have no idea how difficult

to find such an old postcards like these here so

I feel pretty fortunate at the moment:)

Honestly I wish I could upload other recent pictures of
my trip in Ubud so far but instead I decide to share all
these pretty photos first today. Aren't they just rad?
