me and inspiring artist : Holly Farrell

The first time I found Holly is from one of my fave
magazine, Frankie. Not only I fell in love with her
paintings and her choice of ordinary objects but also
her own story of starting her art by the age of 29!

Pertama kali saya melihat lukisan-lukisan Holly di
majalah Frankie dan langsung jatuh cinta! Bukan
saja karena pilihan obyek-obyek lukisannya yang
begitu sederhana namun juga pada kisahnya yang
memulai karir melukisnya di usia 29 tahun!

me and inspiring artist : Jeremy Fish

These are SOME pieces of Jeremy Fish (http://www.sillypinkbunnies.com/)
new solo exhibition, Ghosts of The Barbary Coast. Oh my!
Aren't they just way way cool? And it's trully inspiring to hear
about the whole background of this exhibition which is about
an old history of San Fransisco, where he lives now.

For more pictures and interview with the man himself
go to www.fecalface.com. And don't forget to check out
the tote that he makes for a library where his mom works!
Jeremy, you are trully inspires me. Thank you!

me and drawing

This week is one of the most tiring one at the office.
I don't think I could survive if not because of my lover,
our buddies and my finger power. So I make myself
some pieces using cardboard that lays around under my
office desk in between writing copies and brainstorming
sessions. I want to put them in my small wall of inspiration
in front of my desk.

I realize that these pieces are very simple drawing on fonts
and mix of motifs but you have no idea how long I've been
really really want to make them. Maybe because I love art
piece with good messages, small size piece and also the whole
exploration on the drawing technic and all. I know, I sounds
a bit too much.

i love you, my new small wall of ideas trigger.
