I have been having a blast in the
last two days spending time making
stuff, eating and chatting away with
miss Dindiepop and her crafty fingers.

And look the collaboration that we made!
Oh how I am soo in love with it! So so cute!

I made this with papers and books laying around my
office desk. I'm going to leave my office in three days
and it's been a really good relaxing moment:)

me and collage : a new postcard series

I call this Exquisite Envelopes. I used all those envelopes

that has been sent to me from all over the world. I illustrate

them first before I collaged them. At the moment I think

have like seven pieces that I will try to finish this following

week. I love to make something different:)

Supposedly made for Valentine's this week but I only being

able to finished them last week. I learn to draw and here are

some of those attempt. Hope you like them:)

although i still wish i could make more. i love drawing.

This week is one of the most tiring one at the office.

I don't think I could survive if not because of my lover,

our buddies and my finger power. So I make myself

some pieces using cardboard that lays around under my

office desk in between writing copies and brainstorming

sessions. I want to put them in my small wall of inspiration

in front of my desk.

I realize that these pieces are very simple drawing on fonts

and mix of motifs but you have no idea how long I've been

really really want to make them. Maybe because I love art

piece with good messages, small size piece and also the whole

exploration on the drawing technic and all. I know, I sounds

a bit too much.

Yes, a new series is on the way!

I spent last night trying to find ideas of a collage postcard

for a swap with this one talented dutch gal when I just

quickly made some of these...I really, really like the

overall look of it and I finished two pieces last night.

And you must know how exciting it was when we are

making something and we find a new thing here and there

along the way but they all turned out surprisingly good?

Oh I am such a collage junky lately:)

My finger power

I haven't been drawing for ages and suddenly

for the last couple of weeks as if there is this

power that moves my finger to keep drawing

and drawing and drawing unstopably.

As much as I am excited with this fact,

I am also surprised that the style of my

drawing is like repetitive pattern.

I have no idea where do that come from.

Maybe I have been wanting to make my

own fabric design lately:)
