(Not So) Sunny Sunday

With the heavy rain that suddenly pouring and a heavy
feeling on my chest, yesterday was indeed not a sunny day.
Even a quick walk at this flea market was only cheer me up
a bit because I got exactly what I was looking for. Hope your
Sunday is much more happier than mine:)

Bersama dengan datangnya hujan, berantakanlah semua rencana
saya. Minggu yang kelabu, bahkan kunjungan ke pasar loak yang
biasanya menyenangkan pun hanya terasa sebentar cerianya.

me and my sisters : creativity number three

I spent yesterday at my parents. And look what I found on
my youngest sister room! Oh my! How proud I am of her!
And that vintage top is one of my gift to her for being such
a rad young woman:)

me and collages: inspiring artist

These are the inspiration behind my Origami Balloons

me and exhibition: sari's amazing solo exhibition!

My amazingly talented friend Sari, is having her first solo
exhibition. Apart from drawing she's also knit and
a very famous vocalist of one band called The White Shoes
and The Couples Company. I went to her exhibition
last Saturday and in awe for the whole decoration and her
art. Oh I am so so proud of her!

On this exhibition there so many great ideas on
the medium that Sari uses for her artwork.
She even put this one vintage cabinet where her
friends could put their collectibles to be exhibit there.
I wish I could meet her that day to buy some merchandise
or her artworks but apparently she has a gig in Malaysia!

Can't wait to congratulate her in person! Sari, thank you
for such a gorgeous exhibition.

I wish I could write more

But I am still continuing sewing my red patches piece and having
so many things inside my head and my chest. I guessed it's better
that way until I could sort things out. I know that I have been
doing way too many things in my life that I often forget to take
time and enjoy each of it.

The artwork of Marjorie from marmeecraft that I have been an
eye for finally here with another one of her print. I have also
purchased this swan painting on wood by Miss Raw of
Madame Mundane. I used to make those felt flowers
in boxes and just having them laying around my desk
for inspirations. I mean, with all those colours!
And the last one is one of the collages
swap that I made for Miss Nina Van De Goor.

Sunny Sunday

I am still making those red patches pieces, went to this big thrift market
and found this pretty brooch PLUS had a blast all night watching
an accoustical performances of some good friends. I know, what a weekend!

Yours is peacefully pretty, I hope.
